JCY.Studio makes apps for iPhone and iPad. We show no advertising, use no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and never sell or share your data. We do collect information about how our apps are used — linked to a device, not to a person. We don't know who you are.
How you use our apps — for example which levels you finish, which screens you see, and whether a purchase worked — along with the app version, whether you are on a phone or tablet, and your country.
Not your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or your IP address. We never request the advertising identifier, and our apps show no tracking permission prompt. What you do inside an app stays on your device.
That usage data carries an identifier derived from Apple's identifierForVendor. It persists across reinstalls, and it is the same across all our apps on your device — which is how a purchase in one unlocks content in another. It is not linked to your name, an Apple ID, or any account. Data-protection law treats an identifier like this as pseudonymous rather than anonymous: it does not name you, but it does single out a device, so we treat it as personal data.
Apple handles all payments; we never see your payment details. Subscriptions are billed and cancelled through your Apple Account. Apple sends us transaction records so we can confirm what you have unlocked.
If you install one of our apps after tapping one of our App Store ads, Apple tells us which ad it was — the campaign, the ad group, and which of our keywords matched. This is Apple's own attribution mechanism: it uses no advertising identifier and needs no tracking permission.
Our apps contain nothing unsuitable for any age. They are not directed to children, and are not published in Apple's Kids Category. That said, our apps have no way of telling how old someone is, and the usage data above is collected from everyone who uses them. We use these identifiers only to run and improve our apps and to measure our own advertising — never to build profiles of anyone, and never to target advertising.
We rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving our apps. Usage data is kept in aggregate and is not deleted on a schedule.
Because the data we collect does not tell us who an individual user is, we are unable to find, export or delete one person's records. This is privacy by design. Data-protection law recognises this: where we cannot identify someone, we are not required to gather more information about them in order to.
Deleting an app stops it collecting anything further — that is also how you object to further processing, and it needs nothing from us. Deleting every one of our apps resets the identifier, so nothing collected afterwards connects to what came before.
JCY.Studio is operated by JCY Advisors LLC, a limited liability company registered in New York, USA, which is responsible for the data described here. The only other parties involved are Apple (the App Store, payments, and Game Center in some apps) and Cloudflare, which hosts our site and stores usage data for us. Cloudflare runs a global network, so usage data may be processed outside your own country, under the data-protection safeguards set out in its processing terms. If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above.
